Synopsis: Four female friends take advantage of using a private island for free to have an opportunity to work on their art, however, the reader soon finds out that each woman is there to escape something in their life. Shortly after they arrive at the island, things don’t go as they had planned and soon the murders begin. Is there someone else on the island they don’t know about, or is the murderer one of them???
My thoughts: I enjoyed the atmospheric descriptions of the island, spooky buildings and weather and I found that it added a lot to the story. The author pays homage to Agatha Christie and the story “And Then There Were None” so the plot was somewhat predictable, however, I didn’t correctly guess the killer so high five to the author for pulling that off.
